Bicycle museum in Reidenbach, 1.6.2019
The bicycle museum HEKU is located in the air-raid shelter of the Boltigen community hall in Reidenbach. Mrs. Kunz leads the visitors through the huge collection of different bicycles, from old to new – Mrs. Kunz guides the visitors through the huge collection – all of them are ready to drive and used to be ridden by the Kunz family.
Take a sweater with you, it is rather cold in the shelter!

Fromatt Alp, 1. August 2018
From Blankenburg near Zweisimmen the road winds up to the parking “Tschachtlere”, 1540 m above sea level. If you follow the street you will reach Fromattläger Alp (1860 m) after ca. 45 min, and its Alp Restaurant Q-hof after another 5 min. Wonderful view to the west and to the north.
If you take the mountain path through the wood you will reach the Fromatt SAC cabin (1800 m, open on summer weekends) after 30 min. Impressively situated below the Spillgerten mountain it features a lovely terrace with a nice view towards Saanenmöser.
Lenk, Sieben Brünnen
Next to the Simmen Falls up to the Sieben Brünnen (Seven Wells). Starting at the inn at the foot of the Simmen Falls, the route climbs steeply along the thunderous ravine. After 300 meters of altitude difference it becomes flat, after the mountain inn Sieben Brünnen you stand at the foot of a rock face over which and from which the water of the Plaine Morte glacier rushes.
Rinderberg, Restaurant Fang
The restaurant Fang, known for cheese specialities, is just above Zweisimmen on the Rinderberg.
