Shopping
Reidenbach, between Eschi and Boltigen, is 1.6 km away. There is, among others, a butcher’s shop and a Raiffeisen bank.
In Boltigen, just 3 km away, there is a post office next to a village shop, trade and restaurants.
Zweisimmen is 7.5 km away. In addition to local shops, there are also major distributors such as Migros and Coop, Aldi and a Landi.
Direction Thun in Oberwil: Holzofenbäckerei – Konditorei Mann and the Handlung Kunz (Oberwil-Heideweidli) with basic needs, baked goods and local meat and cheese products. The latter is opposite the covered wooden bridge at the Oberwil junction. A visit is worthwhile!
Many farmers sell their own products, be it cheese they made during the summer on their alps, dried meat or cookies, some also sell milk. They advertise their “Hofladen” and its products with signs on the road or hiking trails. You will have to pay in cash!
