Bicycle museum in Reidenbach, 1.6.2019

The bicycle museum HEKU is located in the air-raid shelter of the Boltigen community hall in Reidenbach. Mrs. Kunz leads the visitors through the huge collection of different bicycles, from old to new – Mrs. Kunz guides the visitors through the huge collection – all of them are ready to drive and used to be ridden by the Kunz family.

Take a sweater with you, it is rather cold in the shelter!

A saddle pump. Its inventor might be our great-uncle Arthur Schmid (he was married to Anna Dütschler-Imhof’s sister). However, at least two versions of the saddle pump existed and it is unknown whether his was the first or whether one copied the other.
